Made with flour high in protein for super stretchy dough that will create light and crisp pizzas perfect for your favourite toppings. Simply hand-stretch the dough and create anything from a classic Margherita with juicy tomato sauce and creamy mozzarella, to dough sticks for dipping or calzones for stuffing.

The dough balls will arrive semi-frozen and should be placed in the freezer immediately. The doughballs will last up to 12 months in the freezer and up to 2 days refrigerated.

We’ve meticulously crafted a delectable range of vegan pizza dough using only natural ingredients, and we’ve frozen them for your enjoyment within the comforts of your own home. These organic dough offerings are sourced exclusively from members of the Pillitteri family, based in the UK. Many have ventured into the art of pizza-making, but the traditional techniques of dough preparation have gradually faded, impacting the authenticity and flavour of genuine Neapolitan Italian pizza.

Fortunately, the Pillitteri family has remained steadfast in their commitment to these traditional methods since the 1900s, passing down the art of dough preparation through generations. We wholeheartedly subscribe to their philosophy: “Perfect dough, perfect pizza, every time.”

 

How to Utilize Your Dough:

The Optimal Approach

  1. Retrieve the frozen dough balls from the freezer, ensuring they remain in their individual bags, and place them on a tray. Store them in the refrigerator at 4ºC overnight.
  2. On the following day, gently remove the dough from their bags, coat them in flour, and return them to a tray.
  3. Let them rest at room temperature, approximately 20ºC, for at least 1-2 hours before crafting your pizza. Keep the dough covered with a damp tea towel throughout to prevent drying.
  4. Use your hands to roll out and stretch the dough, add your preferred toppings, and cook until it reaches perfection.

 

The Expedited Method

  1. Extract the frozen dough balls from the freezer, keeping them in their separate bags, and place them on a tray.
  2. Leave them at room temperature, roughly 20ºC, for at least 1 hour to facilitate defrosting.
  3. Once defrosted, carefully remove the dough from their bags, coat them in flour, and return them to a tray. Allow them to sit for an additional 1-2 hours while keeping the dough covered with a damp tea towel to prevent drying.
  4. Proceed to roll out and stretch the dough with your hands, apply your chosen toppings, and cook until it reaches the desired readiness.
