DeliVita Sourdough Organic & Vegan Pizza Dough Balls (Winner of the 2020 & 2021 Great Taste Awards) Our organic vegan sourdough is simply delightful. If you’ve never experienced the soft tanginess and flavour of sourdough, you’re in for a treat! Crafted using one of the oldest fermentation methods and preserved with 118-year-old fermented yeast, this dough’s flavour is enhanced to perfection, and it’s easier on the digestive system. Our dough balls arrive semi-frozen and should be placed in the freezer immediately. They can be stored in the freezer for up to 9 months or refrigerated for up to 5 days. Ingredients: Pink Himalayan salt, purified water, natural yeast, organic wheat flour. Allergy advice: For allergens, including cereals containing gluten, see ingredients in bold. Suitable for vegans.

Moons Green Pepperoni While everyone assumes that pepperoni is Italian, this variety hails from New York, where Italian immigrants created it to top their pizzas in the early 20th century. Our recipe stays true to this Manhattan creation, using a blend of half pork and half beef, and it packs a respectable amount of heat.

Tiino Fior Di Latte Mozzarella Produced in Britain according to a traditional Italian recipe, this mozzarella is our preference over imported Italian cheese. Our fresh cow’s milk product offers the lightest, most delicate milky flavour of fresh mozzarella and comes pre-sliced for your convenience. Skip the extra preparation and use this outstanding mozzarella on your pizza masterpiece.

 

Product Information:

  • Product can be frozen at -18°C.
  • Freeze immediately upon arrival and use within 9 months.
  • Once defrosted, use within 24 hours.
  • Maturation occurs above 5°C; maintain the correct storage temperature.
  • Best stored out of the box in the refrigerator.

How to Use Your Dough:

The Best Way

  1. Remove the dough balls from the freezer and place the frozen dough balls into the refrigerator. Keep them in their separate bags and leave them in refrigeration at 4ºC overnight.
  2. The next day, carefully remove the dough from their bags. Option 1: Dip them into a bowl full of flour and place them back onto a tray. Option 2: Split the dough balls in half and form them into rounded dough balls.
  3. Leave them out at room temperature (approx. 20ºC) for a minimum of 2 hours before making a pizza. Ensure the dough is always covered with a damp tea towel to prevent it from drying out.
  4. Stretch your dough using your hands and create your pizza. Add your toppings and cook until ready.

 

The Quick Way

  1. Remove the dough balls from the freezer and lay them on a tray, keeping them in their separate bags.
  2. Leave them at room temperature (approx. 20ºC) for a minimum of 1 hour.
  3. Once defrosted, remove the dough balls from their bags carefully, dip them into a bowl full of flour, place them back onto a tray, and leave them for an additional 2 hours. Ensure the dough is always covered with a damp tea towel to prevent it from drying out.
  4. Stretch your dough using your hands and create your pizza. Add your toppings and cook until ready.
